Love almost everything about this kettle, and all it's features. However one massive issue that wasnt described is that nothing is double insulated - as such, there entire kettle, except for the handle, is burning hot when boiled, rendering it a real hazard. So far my kids have stayed safely away, but it is an issue they really should resolve, without compromising too much on design.
Good gooseneck electric kettle for a fair price. Pros: looks awesome. Pours very well. Can hold temp and boil with one extra touch. Cons: scratches pretty easy - unfortunately scratched it first day on a jumper zipper. The printing on the power button is off centre. The boil button button is called temp for some reason instead of boil. It beeps quite loud (around 1 hour) after use if the place the kettle back without pressing the power button - this appears to be it turning off by itself, just wish it would do it without the beep. Just some notes: the kettle slows the boil about 5 degrees before target set point. The last 5 degrees takes a little while so it can often be slower to hit say 90 degrees than just go for a full boil.
Arrived promptly and well packaged. Bought one for me and one for a gift ( haven’t given to recipient yet ) I love it - easy to use, stylish and perfect for my downsizer home.
I bought this gooseneck kettle as I started getting more serious about my pourover coffee. It works great! The sky blue is a nice colour and it has a good pour. I saw some comments on a YouTube review that mentioned this kettle overshoots the set temperature. I've noticed that this only happens slightly when the kettle is used without the "hold" function. With the hold function the temperature rise slows down for the last couple of degrees. Hope this helps other decide on whether to pick this up or not.

Amazing quality and design. Can’t name a better gooseneck kettle on the market; it is superior to everything else in every aspect.
The experience is a big of a mixed bag for me, but this is partially an issue of me bring in the Netherlands and order something for Australia. Even though in the Netherlands we have AB products in stores, but none of them had the pink version, and I just had to get the pink lemonade, because how can I pass on having a pink kettle?! Because of this, by the time the kettle arrived to me the price was almost double (shipping + import fee). This puts the price similar to something like a Fellow Stagg, which feels considerably more premium with more sturdy construction and less plasticky parts. However, I'd say that AB version wins a lot based on the control panel, compared to Fellow Stagg. One thing which lacks for me is some kind of automatic boiling in between pours for filter, and not being forced to always press the button manually. In short, I'd say that in general, for the price state it's an amazing product. Pretty and functional. But if you order it in a different country, it makes a lot of sense to consider all the fees you'd have to pay and weigh the price this way. P.S. Because I had a Fellow Stagg before, I was able to fit the AB kettle on it's base and it fits perfectly and also display temperature. Not sure how that happened, but I won't tell if you wouldn't ;)

Love it. Easy to fill; easy to pour
Works well, it is elegant and functional and having steam holes on top-side of the kettle body it's genial! The special knobs are moreover a sophisticated touch. I also had an issue after a couple of weeks (which came up being due to a faulty power-board, not to the kettle) and the assistance was so fast that when I found out the real issue, after less than 24 hours, they had already shipped another base unit. I still feel sorry that they had to spend the postage to send it and have it back. But their speed was just amazing...
This kettle is amazing! Interior is all stainless steel with no visible plastic or silicone parts that will come in contact with hot water. This was my main search criteria when looking for a new electric kettle. Amazingly fast to heat up and noise level is reasonable when heating up. Built quality nothing to complain about and whole package will looks fantastic on any kitchen benchtop.
Very well made and minimalistic looking kettle that blends with my setup. It’s the first gooseneck kettle that I bought, so I can test out more pouring methods with slower flow! The thermometer seems accurate and it boils water much quicker and quieter than a conventional kettle. The handling of the kettle is light and well balance, creating some very juicy pour overs!

I was very impressed with the prompt service...the kettle arrived the day after I ordered it! It looks fantastic on the bench, is much quieter when boiling than our old kettle, and makes a fantastic pour-over. We are very happy with our purchase!

This is the BEST kettle Ever!! It is my morning joy to see and use. I got the pink one, everyone loves it. I do daily pour over and then use for tea as well. I love how I can set the temp and also keep it warm. The quality is way above any other I have used and well it is simply Perfect. Should be in a design museum as a work of art. Love.

This is a beautiful kettle! It works well and looks so stylish. Unfortunately I only found out my accommodation rules did not permit the use of a kettle in my room until after I bought it. However rather than return it, I decided to keep it for the future since I liked it so much, and it makes a great display piece in the meantime.

Great kettle love the colour
Its super quiet and very quick to boil. Be sure to check the boiling point/temp for your area if you live at a high altitude, as my kettle was boiling over at 100° and making a mess until I realised the boiling point for my area is 96°. Now my kettle is set for 96° and it works beautifully!

Great kettle and value for money!
We love the matte black aesthetics of the Smart Kettle as it matches the grinder we already have at home. The instant boil function sets it apart from another similar kettle we have used before - if we wanted to, this can become the primary kettle at home instead of one that's used purely for filter coffee. The spout gives a lovely controlled pour. Cleaning and maintenance are simple enough. We have only had it for a week and it has been great so far - only time will tell if it has the durability that we are hoping for.
